ACCESSIBLY LIVE OFF-LINE (1996 to present)

A few years after the conclusion of Accessibly Live’s run in 1991, the desire of continuing a revised version of the program sparked interest, but within a different format. The format chosen would be created within the latest entry into the media landscape called “the internet”. However, the internet was at that time rather new to much of the domestic population. The public viewed the internet as something that was a novelty, or a source that was only of interest to a selected few: Mostly, computer fanatics. However, Rich wanted to dive into that new medium without becoming categorized as a high tech being that didn’t necessarily receive the same respect to those outside of the realm. So in order to satisfy the public at large, the TV seies Accessibly Live was reborn as Accessibly Live Off-Line. It would become a written news outlet that would be distributed through electronic mail, or “e-mail”. For those that didn’t have access to e-mail, it would be available as a print source.

As time progressed, Accessibly Live Off-Line received its growth as the medium called “the internet” slowly moved from a curiosity to an accepted form of media and communication, to where it stands in the present day-a way of life. As e-mail subscriptions went into full-time demand, the print version was phased out, evolving itself to a presence on the “world wide web”. Currently, Accessibly Live Off-Line can be accessed through its dedicated web site
www.AccessiblyLiveOffLine.com where it provides news and reviews on the multi-media. This includes, but not limited to, news and reviews on the fields of television and radio programming, feature films, regional theater in Los Angeles and Orange Counties, California, audio recordings, marketing trends, domestic lifestyles, and book/print titles. In addition, commentary of the passing scene and related current event headlines can be found in each edition as written by Rich Borowy, serving as Managing Editor.
